Armagh County Show

P5–6 pupils had a fantastic day at the Armagh County Agricultural Show’s Education Day in Gosford Forest. St Peter's were selected to attend this special schools’ event, the children enjoyed a wonderful opportunity to learn outside the classroom. They explored a wide range of topics including farm animals, horticulture, bees, and the importance of healthy eating.

Throughout the day, pupils took part in engaging, hands-on activities and met a variety of animals while gaining a deeper understanding of life on the farm and where our food comes from. There were also plenty of lovely treats to enjoy, with the highlight for many being a visit to the ice-cream van!

Thanks to Flo McCall and all the volunteers for the warm welcome. It was a fun-filled, educational experience and a memorable day for everyone involved.
